- Council Scout is not a council planning portal and does not replace the original council planning source.
- Important details should be checked against the original council planning source before making decisions or contacting anyone.
Accuracy and availability
- Planning records, dates, documents, addresses, contacts and map locations may be incomplete, delayed or incorrect.
- Council Scout does not guarantee that every record is complete, current or error-free.
- Links to council pages and council documents can change or become unavailable.
Contact use
- Contact details are shown only where they appear to be publicly available or reasonably linked to the public planning record.
- Uncertain contact matches should be checked before use.
- Council Scout does not contact applicants, agents, homeowners or councils on your behalf.
- Users are responsible for ensuring any approach they make is lawful, appropriate and respectful.
Accounts, saved records and membership
- Saved and Contacted records are private to your account. Notes and follow-up records are account features to help you track your own work.
- You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for deciding how your team uses Council Scout information.
- Where membership or trial features are enabled, billing terms shown at checkout or in your account also apply.
